Palliative Care Support
Comfort-focused support for people living with serious illness, available alongside curative treatment, at any stage.
Palliative is not hospice
This distinction confuses almost every family we meet. Palliative care focuses on symptom relief and quality of life, and can be provided at any point in a serious illness, including while someone is still pursuing aggressive treatment. Hospice is a specific benefit for people who have stopped curative treatment and have a limited prognosis.
You do not have to give anything up to accept palliative support.
What in-home palliative support looks like
- Personal care and comfort measures
- Meal preparation through appetite loss and nausea
- Transportation to treatment and follow-up
- Symptom observation and reporting to the clinical team
- Respite for family caregivers
- Companionship through long treatment cycles
